Charley Brown’s Backburner Chili
Ingredients:
3 lbs Ground Beef
1 Charley Brown’s Backburner Chili Seasoning Pack (1 Cup)
1 Medium Onion, Diced
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
1 28 oz Can Whole Tomatoes, Crushed by Hand
2 Cup Chicken Broth
1 15 oz Can Tomato Sauce
1 6 oz can Tomato Paste
1 16 oz Can Chili Beans with Sauce
1 Bottle Favorite Beer(Guinness is Recommended) or 12 oz Chicken Broth
Preparation:
Brown beef, onion and garlic in dutch oven or large pot
Add seasoning packed during last 5 minutes of browning
Add beer(or chicken broth) to deglaze pot
Add Remaining Ingredients and bring to a slow simmer
Reduce heat and cover with lid slightly ajar
Simmer on low for 2 hours, stirring frequently
